The Tarpoon Skin Diving Center was established in Hialeah in 1952, making it the oldest diving store in Florida. The Tarpoon Lagoon store was opened in 1997 in Miami\'s South Beach (it is the only South Beach dive store that is right on the dock ... walk out the door right onto the boat!). Both stores offer dive trips, dive training, equipment sales and service, equipment rentals, and a full professional service. Tarpoon is operated by Valerie and Stephanie Kevorkian, the founder's daughters.
Tarpoon is dedicated to giving you the opportunity of enjoying SCUBA diving. We know what it means to have fun, and our experience will help you make diving a lifetime hobby, or even a career. With your friendship and patronage we have grown to become the preferred SCUBA facility in Miami.
Dive Trips
Miami, Florida Keys, the World
Trips run regularly on Saturday morning two reefs, also suitable for snorkeling and Sunday morning (wreck and reef). Trips to advanced dive sites run on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and night dives are arranged for Friday and Saturday nights. Weekday and charter trips are available on demand. Tarpoon is the only dive shop on South Beach right on the dock - no transfers, just walk to the boat!

Our professional PADI and NAUI instructors can introduce to the wonderful world of SCUBA diving, and follow through with a full range of diver education programs.
